Biographical details

Gerald M. Yaroslow is a certified specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.  He has served as the Chairperson or co-chairperson of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Century City Bar Association, a member of the Century City Bar Association’s Bar of Governors, President of the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council, and Chairperson of the Probate, Trust and Estate Planning Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. In addition, he has lectured on estate planning and estate and trust administration topics for the U.S.C. Tax Institute, the California Continuing Education of the Bar, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council, the Beverly Hills Estate Counselors Forum, the Century City Bar Association, the Warner Center Tax and Estate Planning Council, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the San Diego Tax Practitioner’s Institute, the Los Angeles County Superior and Municipal Court Judges Association, and the Appraisal Institute. He has been listed among Southern California’s “top lawyers” (top 5%) in surveys published each year between 2004 and 2022 (each year the survey has been conducted) in Los Angeles magazine and Southern California Super Lawyers magazine.

Mr. Yaroslow received his A.B. degree from the University of Pennsylvania (cum laude, honors with distinction), his M.A. degree from Columbia University, and his J.D. degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law (where he was a Note and Article Editor of the Southern California Law Review).

Mr. Yaroslow is married and has two children and four young grandchildren.
